As part of the strengthening of its flight operations and the development of its operational capabilities, AIR Congo S.A. is recruiting six (6) B737NG Captains to join its Flight Operations team.
ABOUT THE POSITION
The B737NG Captain is responsible for the safe, efficient and professional operation of AIR Congo's Boeing 737NG aircraft in accordance with applicable aviation regulations, company policies, approved procedures and international aviation safety standards.
The Captain exercises overall command of the aircraft and is responsible for the safety of passengers, crew, aircraft and cargo throughout the operation.
The incumbent plays a central role in maintaining high standards of flight safety, operational discipline, crew coordination and regulatory compliance, while contributing to the continuous development of AIR Congo's Flight Operations.
MISSION OF THE POSITION
The mission of the B737NG Captain is to ensure the safe, efficient and compliant conduct of flight operations in accordance with applicable regulations, AIR Congo's Operations Manual, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and established safety standards.
In this capacity, the Captain is responsible for exercising effective command of the flight crew, making sound operational decisions, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements, and promoting a strong culture of safety, professionalism and Crew Resource Management (CRM).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Applicants must also satisfy all applicable licensing, validation, medical, training, checking and competency requirements of the relevant aviation authority prior to commencement of commercial operations with AIR Congo.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
Preference may be given to candidates with:
TRAINING & QUALIFICATION
Successful candidates will be required to complete the applicable AIR Congo Operator Conversion Course (OCC), aircraft-specific training, proficiency checks and competency requirements in accordance with the AIR Congo Operations Manual (OM-D) and applicable regulatory requirements.
Candidates who do not hold a current B737 type rating will be subject to the applicable B737 type-rating and conversion training requirements.
All required training and checking must be successfully completed before the candidate is authorised to conduct commercial operations.
LICENSING AND VALIDATION
Candidates holding licences issued by FAA, EASA or another ICAO Contracting State may be considered, subject to the applicable licensing and validation requirements.
The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain all approvals, validations, licences, ratings and authorisations required by the competent aviation authority before commencing commercial operations.

The Training Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising and monitoring training activities for flight crews and cabin crews.

The incumbent plays a central role in maintaining the skills of the crews, developing a safety culture and continuously improving the company's training system.

The Training Manager's mission is to guarantee the efficiency, compliance and quality of AIR Congo S.A.'s crew training system.
In this capacity, he or she is responsible for planning and coordinating training, monitoring crew qualifications and skills, supervising instructors and ensuring that training activities comply with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
